NZ Property World

Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the NZ Property World website, property information, enquiry services and related digital content.

Last updated: 12 July 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By accessing, browsing or using this website, submitting an enquiry or downloading material from it, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website.

1. Scope and Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions apply to the website operated under the NZ Property World name, including its pages, property presentations, images, downloadable material, brochures, enquiry forms and other online services.

Your use of the website constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions together with our Privacy Policy and any property-specific notices or disclaimers appearing on the website.

A property listing, enquiry response or exchange of correspondence does not, by itself, create a sale and purchase agreement, agency agreement, advisory relationship, fiduciary relationship or other binding property transaction.

2. About NZ Property World

NZ Property World is a property marketing and introduction platform presenting selected New Zealand and international property opportunities to prospective purchasers, investors and other interested parties.

The website may feature residential, commercial, hospitality, development, land, lifestyle and investment-related opportunities supplied by property owners, developers, licensed real estate professionals or other authorised third parties.

3. Our Role

Unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular property, NZ Property World acts as a marketing, information and introduction platform. We may facilitate contact between prospective purchasers and appointed agents, owners, developers or professional advisers.

NZ Property World is not necessarily the property owner, vendor, developer, valuer, lender, insurer, lawyer, accountant, financial adviser, immigration adviser, tax adviser, building inspector or planning consultant.

The appointed listing agent and licensed real estate agency for a New Zealand property will be identified on the relevant property page where that information is available.

No authority to bind third parties

Unless expressly confirmed in writing, NZ Property World has no authority to enter into a sale and purchase agreement, make warranties, accept deposits or otherwise bind a vendor, developer, agent or other third party.

4. Property Information

Property descriptions, dimensions, floor areas, plans, specifications, prices, rents, yields, outgoings, lease details, occupancy information, zoning, consents, titles, heritage information, earthquake ratings and other details may be supplied by third parties.

Although reasonable efforts may be made to present information accurately, NZ Property World does not warrant that all information is complete, current, precise or free from error or omission.

In particular:

  • floor and land areas may be approximate;
  • room counts and property features should be independently checked;
  • maps, boundaries and location markers may be indicative only;
  • development plans and specifications may change;
  • future views, landscaping or surrounding developments are not guaranteed;
  • rental figures, yields and projections are not guaranteed returns;
  • building, structural, seismic and compliance information must be verified independently; and
  • property descriptions should not be treated as substitutes for legal documents, council records, titles, leases or professional reports.

5. Pricing, Tax, Availability and Currency

Prices, availability, incentives, rental figures, yields, outgoings and other commercial terms may change or be withdrawn without prior notice.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • prices are shown in the currency identified on the relevant page;
  • New Zealand prices are generally expressed in New Zealand dollars;
  • commercial property prices may exclude GST;
  • foreign exchange conversions are indicative only;
  • legal, tax, finance, valuation, inspection and transaction costs are not included;
  • furniture, landscaping, decorative items and optional upgrades may not be included; and
  • availability remains subject to confirmation by the vendor, developer or appointed agent.

No property is reserved merely because a user submits an online enquiry, requests information or receives marketing material.

6. Enquiries, Registrations and Introductions

When you submit an enquiry, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that NZ Property World may use it to respond to your request and, where appropriate, introduce you to a property owner, developer, appointed agent or relevant service provider.

We may request additional information regarding your requirements, budget, preferred location, intended use, purchasing timeframe, residency status or investor profile before arranging an introduction.

NZ Property World may decline, pause or discontinue an enquiry where information appears inaccurate, incomplete, unlawful, abusive, fraudulent or inconsistent with the nature of the property opportunity.

7. International and Overseas Buyers

Property ownership, investment approval, taxation, immigration, residency, financing and foreign-exchange requirements vary by jurisdiction and purchaser circumstances.

Overseas buyers must independently determine whether they are legally eligible to purchase a particular property. Eligibility may depend on citizenship, residency status, property classification, land sensitivity, intended use, transaction value and regulatory approval.

Nothing on this website represents that a user is eligible to purchase, finance, occupy, develop or obtain approval for any property.

8. Independent Advice and Due Diligence

Before making any property, business or investment decision, prospective purchasers should obtain independent advice appropriate to their circumstances.

This may include advice from:

  • a qualified lawyer or conveyancing professional;
  • a licensed real estate professional;
  • a registered valuer;
  • a building inspector, engineer or seismic specialist;
  • an accountant or tax adviser;
  • a licensed financial or mortgage adviser;
  • an immigration adviser;
  • a planner, surveyor or architect; and
  • relevant local or central government authorities.

Purchasers should inspect the property and verify the title, boundaries, easements, covenants, zoning, leases, consents, body corporate records, building condition, insurance position, seismic status, contamination risk, financing and all other material matters.

No investment guarantee

Past performance, projected growth, potential rental income, tourism demand, infrastructure development or regional popularity does not guarantee future returns, occupancy, resale value or capital growth.

9. Images, Plans and Visual Material

Images displayed on the website may include actual property photography, architectural renders, artist impressions, concept designs, stock photography, representative lifestyle images, digitally enhanced material or AI-generated visuals.

Illustrative images may not show the exact property, completed development, final finishes, views, landscaping, furniture, fittings, colours, dimensions or surrounding environment.

Plans and diagrams may not be to scale. Furniture placement, room proportions, boundaries and measurements shown in plans should be independently verified.

Image enhancement, cropping, lighting adjustment or digital presentation may be used for marketing and design purposes, but should not be relied on as an exact representation of physical condition.

10. Third-Party Agents, Developers and Websites

The website may contain information supplied by third-party agents, vendors, developers, photographers, advisers or data providers. It may also include links to external websites, maps, portals or professional service providers.

NZ Property World does not control every third-party website or service and is not responsible for its availability, security, content, privacy practices, statements or performance.

An introduction, link or reference does not amount to an endorsement, warranty or guarantee. Users should conduct their own assessment before engaging any third party.

11. Copyright and Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the website design, branding, logos, written content, page layouts, graphics, code, databases, brochures and other original material are owned by or licensed to NZ Property World.

Property photographs, plans and third-party branding may remain the intellectual property of their respective owners and are used under licence, permission or for authorised marketing purposes.

You must not, without prior written permission:

  • copy, reproduce, republish or redistribute substantial website content;
  • download or commercially reuse property images;
  • remove copyright, attribution or watermark notices;
  • scrape, harvest or systematically extract website data;
  • frame, mirror or reproduce the website on another platform;
  • use our branding in a manner suggesting endorsement or partnership; or
  • create misleading listings using content taken from this website.

You may save or print limited material for your own personal, non-commercial evaluation of a property.

12. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the website:

  • for unlawful, fraudulent, misleading or abusive purposes;
  • to impersonate another person or submit false information;
  • to transmit malware or interfere with website security;
  • to send unsolicited commercial messages;
  • to collect personal information without authority;
  • to reverse engineer or disrupt website systems;
  • to make false claims regarding a property, agent or vendor; or
  • in a manner that could damage the website, NZ Property World or a third party.

We may restrict or block access where misuse, security risks or unlawful activity are suspected.

13. Privacy, Enquiry Information and Communications

Personal information submitted through the website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable New Zealand privacy requirements.

Information may be used to respond to enquiries, provide requested material, facilitate property introductions, improve website services, maintain records and meet legal or security obligations.

Where necessary to respond to your enquiry, relevant information may be shared with an appointed agent, vendor, developer or service provider. We will not represent that information will remain confidential where disclosure is reasonably required to process your request or comply with law.

You may unsubscribe from optional marketing communications using the unsubscribe process provided or by contacting us. Transactional or enquiry-related communications may still be sent where reasonably necessary.

14. Website Security and Electronic Communications

We take reasonable steps to maintain website security, but no website, email system or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure, uninterrupted or free from harmful components.

Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate device protection, checking links and attachments and ensuring that communications genuinely originate from the intended sender.

NZ Property World will not request that a property deposit be transferred solely on the basis of an unverified email. Payment instructions should always be independently confirmed with the relevant lawyer, agent or authorised party.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NZ Property World is not liable for loss arising from reliance on incomplete, inaccurate, outdated or third-party property information.

This includes, without limitation, loss relating to:

  • property value, rental return or capital growth;
  • withdrawal, sale or unavailability of a property;
  • currency movements, tax treatment or finance availability;
  • planning, consent, construction or development outcomes;
  • third-party acts, omissions or professional advice;
  • website interruption, malware or unauthorised access;
  • loss of business, opportunity, profit, data or reputation; or
  • decisions made without independent due diligence.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

16. New Zealand Consumer and Fair Trading Law

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable New Zealand law.

Where the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986 or another mandatory law applies, these terms must be interpreted subject to that legislation.

If you use the website or obtain services for business purposes, the application of particular statutory provisions may depend on the nature of the transaction and any valid written agreement between the relevant parties.

17. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify NZ Property World against reasonable loss, cost or claim arising from your unlawful use of the website, infringement of intellectual property rights, submission of false information or breach of these Terms and Conditions.

This provision does not require a consumer to indemnify NZ Property World for loss caused by NZ Property World’s own unlawful conduct, negligence or breach of a non-excludable statutory obligation.

18. Website Availability and Changes

We may update, suspend, remove or modify website content, property information, services or these Terms and Conditions at any time.

We do not guarantee that the website, a particular page or downloadable resource will remain continuously available. Property pages may be removed after a sale, withdrawal, expiry or instruction from an authorised party.

The date shown at the top of this page indicates when these Terms and Conditions were last updated. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Subject to any mandatory consumer rights or jurisdictional requirements, disputes concerning this website or these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

Users accessing the website from another country are responsible for complying with laws applicable in their location.

20. General Provisions

Severability

If any provision is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be modified or severed to the minimum extent necessary without affecting the remaining provisions.

No waiver

A failure or delay in enforcing a right under these terms does not amount to a waiver of that right.

Entire website terms

These Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy and any property-specific terms or notices form the general agreement governing use of this website. A property transaction will be governed separately by its formal legal agreements.

Headings

Section headings are provided for convenience and do not limit the interpretation of these terms.
